Our kaftans are the most formal thing we make. Long-sleeved, cut closer through the shoulders and chest than the gandoura, with embroidery running from the mandarin collar down the centre of the chest and a concealed zip at the neck. Two functional pockets, which is rarer in a kaftan than it should be.
Kaftan or caftan, both spellings point at the same garment: an ankle-length robe worn across North Africa and the Middle East. The Moroccan cut is what we make, distinguished by the embroidered placket and a cleaner, straighter line than Gulf styles.
Twelve colors, from black and gray through emerald green, burgundy and lavender purple. All in a polyester and rayon blend that drapes properly and does not crease every time you sit down.
Fit and sizing
Kaftans run M to 3XL. The cut is more tailored than our other pieces, so if you prefer room, size up. Full measurements and height ranges are on the size guide. Our model is 5'11" and 155 lbs wearing XL.
What to wear it for
Eid prayer, weddings, Jumu'ah, evening gatherings. The embroidery makes it dressy enough for an occasion, and black or gray are plain enough to wear on an ordinary Friday.
