Size Guide
Every Munawwir piece is individually tailored, so measurements can vary by about half an inch. All measurements are in inches. Length is taken from the collar bone to the bottom of the garment. Chest is taken flat, armpit to armpit, so double it to compare against your own chest measurement.

The gandoura is half-sleeve with a relaxed, roomy fit and double pockets. Our model is 5′10″ and 155 lbs wearing Large.

M/L sits between M and L. Choose it if you are around 5′7″ - 5′9″ and want a little more room through the body than M allows. The winter djellaba is cut from heavy fabric for layering and has two open side slits for pocket access rather than sewn-in pockets.
How to measure
- Chest. Lay a thobe you already own flat. Measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other. Compare that number to the chest column above.
- Length. Measure from your collar bone straight down to where you want the hem to sit, usually just above the ankle.
- Height. If you are between two sizes, use the height column as the tie-breaker, then size up if you prefer a looser drape.
