Djellebas MUST BE DRY-CLEANED! Do NOT wash any other way as they will shrink.
How to care for your Gandoura & Kaftan:
– Dry-Clean or hand wash:
– Use cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals, as they can weaken the fabric and embroidery
– Gently move the garment in the water, then rinse thoroughly. Do not wring or twist, as this may alter its shape.
– Lay flat on a clean towel, roll it up gently to absorb excess water, then unroll carefully.
– Avoid machine washing or drying. Your garments WILL SHRINK! Instead, hang it in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat, to maintain its quality and softness.
